Can I order a subscription as a gift?

Of course. There are two buttons at the bottom of this page: SUBSCRIBE and GIFT CARD. You can either subscribe for yourself, or order a gorgeous gift card for someone you love.

Where will the gift card be sent?

When you order a gift card, the card will be sent to the shipping address you specify during checkout.

I want to give a subscription as a gift, but I don't want a gift card.

No problem. Just click the 'Subscribe' button, and then enter the recipient's address as the shipping address.

Do all subscribers receive the same book?

Yes. We send out one fantastic book each month, and all subscribers get the same book.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes. All our packaging is 100% recyclable and environmentally friendly.

Are there real-life book club meetings?

Not yet. But if you'd like to start one, please let us know!

Who are you?

We are a team of book lovers, who are also award-winning, bestselling publishing professionals. We have written, edited, and published books for publishers of all sizes, including Penguin, HarperCollins and Little, Brown.

Is The Mystery Book Club tied to a publisher?

Absolutely not, we are completely independent.

Can I specify my preferred genres?

I'm afraid not. A big part of the fun of The Mystery Book Club is discovering fantastic books, authors and genres that you might otherwise never have come across. Each book should be a delightful surprise.
